Special Events Open House

Wednesday, September 23rd, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Here is your chance to ask members and EG Staff your questions. We will have interactive displays representing all our activity clubs. There will also be entertainment, games and prizes. This is an event you do not want to miss! Pub Nights with Live Music A Pub style evening with beer, cider and wine. Play games, socialize and hit the small dance floor for “pub style” dancing. Pub nights are held once a month on Friday Nights from 7:00pm to 9:30 pm. Check our newsletter for dates. Square Dance Party Come and learn to square dance! The Evergreen Club in partnership with the Ocean Waves Square Dance Club present: Square Dance Party. Singles and couples welcome - no partners required and no experience necessary! Come join us August 18th from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Halloween Dance Party

Comox Valley Concert Band Join us while the talented Comox Valley Concert Band entertains us on Sunday, December 6th 2:00 pm. Yuletide Dance What a great way to get in the Christmas spirit with our Christmas themed dance party! Join us on Friday, December 11th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm and wear your holiday best. New Years Eve Dance Party Once again, the place to be to ring in the New Year, is the Evergreen Club. Join us on Thursday, December 31st from 7:30 pm to 12:30 am. We will have live music, snacks, beer/wine bar and champagne at midnight. Tickets in advance only!

Why should the kids have all the fun? Dress up in your spookiest costume and join us for a fun dance party Friday, October 30th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Prize for best costume! www.evergreenclub.ca Check our website for more information:

Evergreen Lounge Come enjoy a fresh baked muffin, soup, salad or sandwich in the Evergreen Lounge! A variety of delicious hot specials such as lasagna, chicken enchiladas, pizza, beef dip and Ruebens are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Check our Evergreen Club newsletter to see the specials in advance. You can also grab a frozen meal for later. Our kitchen has a dedicated group of volunteers allowing us to offer affordable prices. Meet up with a friend for coffee, a meal or to have a game of cards. Everyone is welcome. Members can borrow a book, DVD or puzzle from our lending library.

Florence Filberg Centre • 250-338-1000 Volunteer Opportunities Volunteering at the Evergreen Club is a great way to get involved, meet people and help provide a valuable service to our community. We are always looking for more volunteers so we can continue to offer a variety of clubs, special events and food at affordable prices. Hours are flexible to accommodate your busy schedule, and can start at just 3 two hour shifts a month. If you would like to learn more, we would love to hear from you.
