55+ Strength, Stretch & Core
55+ Simply Strength 1 Exercises will be taught with a variety of equipment to increase balance, range of motion and strength and will help you regain or maintain your ability to climb stairs, get in and out of a chair or car, and maintain your bal ance while walking and stand ing. Dynamic movements are performed with great music to improve cardiovascular perfor mance including gentle stretch ing. Participants should be able to get up and down from the floor. 55+ Chair Fit This fun, lower impact, chair based class can be done both in or out of the chair! You’ll be guided carefully through exercis es focusing on balance, mobility, range of motion, coordination, flexibility, muscle strength and relaxation. The instructor will offer modifications as needed, as well as provide support to participants at every turn. All levels welcome! No class Sept 30 & Nov 11.
This popular class checks off all the boxes! Your workout begins with a moderate level warm up followed by exercises that focus on strengthening, toning and stretching key muscles. Fall 55+ Drop-in Fitness background, you’ll enjoy a variety of easy-to-follow cardio move ments that get your heart pumping and your body feeling great. Each class includes a gentle warm-up, dynamic full-body easy move ment, and a relaxing stretch to finish.
