Level 1 includes basics such as falls, stops, and cross-overs and learning to skate safely in a group. Level 2 expands on those skills and includes controlling edges, building on skating backwards, transitions and more. Level 2 is designed for skaters wanting to improve basic recreational skills and those looking to progress into roller derby. This program teaches young climb ers and belayers climbing tech niques, belaying, safety procedures and more, under the tutelage of an experienced climbing instructor. No experience necessary. BELAY&CLIMBINGSKILLS 9+ • Gymnasium Learn how to belay, tie a figure eight and climb safely and independently on the wall, plus have a chance to learn techniques to become a more efficient climber from one of our experienced climbing supervisors. You’re welcome to stay afterward for our open climbing session, and you’ll be prepared to test for your belay ticket during a subsequent visit. In cludes rental gear.
