This delightful concert on Mother’s Day is sure to please. Tickets $10 in advance at Filberg Reception or at the door. Everyone welcome! Get-Up-And-Go Challenge Thursday September 14th 10 am The “Get Up and Go Challenge” promotes physical activity among seniors regardless of physical ability and does so in a non-competitive setting with minimum cost to, and no preparation required by, the participant… just show up and walk with us! This age 55+ event challenges all participating seniors to complete their choice of one of three pre determined routes (1.5 km, 2.5 km, 4 km). All routes will begin and end at the Evergreen lounge in the Florence Filberg Centre. Register on the day of the event. $5 Prizes and snacks provided.

Join us for an all ages afternoon of music and dancing! Complimentary coffee, tea & cake will be served. Hosted by the Evergreen Club

Evergreen Lounge Come enjoy the Evergreen Lounge! Grab dinner for later and stay to enjoy a fresh baked muffin, soup, salad or sandwich for lunch. Delicious hot specials like lasagna, chicken enchiladas and pizza are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays, check our newsletter to see the specials in advance. Meet up with a friend for a coffee or grab a book or DVD from our lending library. Our kitchen has a dedicated group of volunteers allowing us to offer affordable prices for our members.

Volunteering at the Evergreen Club is a great way to get involved and meet people and help provide a valuable service to our community. We are always looking for more volunteers so we can continue to offer a variety of clubs, special events and food at affordable prices. The Evergreen Club also welcomes volunteers to start new activity clubs. If you have a favourite activity not listed please let us know and maybe we can get it going! Hours are flexible to accommodate your busy schedule, and can start at just 2 hours a month. If you would like to learn more, we would love to chat with you.
