BRONZE MEDALLION (13 years & over) Bronze medallion challenges the candidate both mentally and physically. Judgement, knowl edge, skill and fitness - the four components of water rescue - form the basis of this training. Bronze Cross begins the tran sition from lifesaving to life guarding and prepares you for the responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. You’ll strengthen your lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and tech niques of active surveillance in Aquatic facilities. SwimFit is a new program for those looking to get a work out in the pool. Each Saturday morning, we will have a workout that individuals can follow at their own pace, but also receive stroke correction feedback from a lifeguard.
