platform. The south access is also set to receive stair modifications in late spring. The work was scheduled and approved through coordination with the

Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations. Both accesses will be ready for the summer season when many tubers and swimmers enjoy the river.

Courtenay Recreation coordinates the use of all parks and school playing fields located in the City of Courtenay. Field Closures: Fields may be closed due to weather conditions. We would appreciate your cooperation in not using the fields during these times. Courtenay Recreation also books the Artificial Turf Field located at GP Vanier. Please note that only limited spaces are available. Re-opening Saturday, May 18 Cool down and have a blast in the Valley’s wettest playground this summer! Featuring an ouch resistant recycled rubber tire surface. The waterpark is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm daily throughout the summer. Please note that hours are subject to change.
