Teen Odyssey is back and better than ever! This camp is specifically for teens with support needs and diverse abilities and is a place where they get the chance to explore new activities, learn new skills, meet friends and have tons of fun, all while in a supportive environment. The Teen Odyssey crew will take part in all sorts of summer activities – interactive games, crafts, beach days, out trips, swimming and much more! Monday - Friday

MCFD Summer Camp Support Families who have children getting services through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) are eligible for support in our Summer Camp Pro grams for ages 6-18 years. These programs are for children/youth who have addi tional support considerations and are wanting to attend camp. Please contact the local Children and Youth with Special Needs (CYSN) office at 250-334-5820 to see if your child/youth is eligible as a letter from CYSN is required for registration. Only children/youth with an intellectual disability, autism, or receive services through the At Home program are eligible for CYSN services.

ADAPTED SWIM (all ages) Join in on the fun in this swim for all ages and abilities! The lift is avail able for anyone needing support to get into the water. Leisure for Everyone Accessibility Program (LEAP) is a regional program which provides 52 FREE drop ins to each municipal recreation department for eligible participants living in the Comox Valley! LEAP can be used at: the City of Courtenay Lewis Centre; Florence Filberg Centre; Courtenay Outdoor Pool and LINC Youth Centre; Town of Comox Recreation Centre; CVRD Aquatic Centre and Sports Center; and Village of Cumberland Recreation Centre. Program Registration & Refund Notes

Registration: All participants must register individually for their programs to prevent duplicate accounts. Day programs or caregivers assisting participants can call the Lewis Centre for help with account creation and to make this transition easier. All participants must make sure their accounts are in good standing before regis tering in new programs. Register by telephone: You may register by telephone by calling The Lewis Centre (250-338-5371) or Fil berg Centre (250-338-1000). Register online: Visit www.courtenay.ca/reconline to create your account or call The Lewis Centre or Filberg Centre for assistance. Cancellation: Please register early if you are interested or programs will be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met. Withdrawal/Refunds: A full or pro-rated refund will be given if class is cancelled or for medical reasons. Refunds will not be approved after a program has ended. Away: If you have a planned absence, please contact the Lewis or Filberg Centre office so we know not to expect you. One-on-One Support: While we will do our best during programs to meet your needs, please note that we are unable to provide one-on-one support.
