EvergreenFoodService&Lounge One of the benefits of membership is enjoying the Evergreen Food Services and Lounge. The Kitchen offers fresh bakedmuffins, soups, sal- ads, sandwiches, hot lunch specials anddesserts. Meet other members in the lounge and catch up over a coffee, or just come down to reada book or do apuzzle to get out of the house. Guests arewelcome too. Our kitchen is operatedby adedicatedgroup of volunteers, with staff sup- port, and this allows us to keep foodprices affordable for our members. Volunteering at the Evergreen Club is a great way to meet new people. All of the members at the Evergreen Club are 55+, however we happily accept volunteers of all ages. Our volunteers come to the Club to keep busy and meet new people. They stay because they meet fun like-minded people, feel part of a community and feel good about their contribution. Studies show volunteering gives people a sense of well-being, pur- pose, improved mindset and better health! Come find out why some of our volunteers have been at the Club for over 20 years.
