HATHA FLOW YOGA Join Kim for this evening Hatha Flow class! You’ll release the ten- sion in your muscles as you move your body slowly and purposefully through poses that will challenge your strength and flexibility. You’ll calm your mind and explore your breath and focus on relaxation. Instructor: Kim Johnson #9372 Tuesdays April 5 – June 28 5:15 - 6:15 pm Lewis Meeting Room $6.50/Drop-in FLOW YOGA This Vinyasa style yoga class is where you’ll practice poses that are strung together to form one fluid sequence of movement. YOGA FOR MEN OVER 50 (who never thought they’d do Yoga) (50 years & over) This class is just for men over 50 who are new to Yoga. You’ll be at the same level as everyone else as you gradually increase your flexibility, so no need to feel intim - idated. You’ll learn some breathing techniques that reduce stress. As the weeks progress, you might find that you’re less prone to injuries at work or during leisure, and that you recover faster from exertion. No class April 18 & May 23. PRENATAL YOGA Going through many changes during pregnancy, prenatal yoga will help you to adjust, strengthen, stretch and relax your body. It is a great way to connect to your body, breath, mind and baby. The class will be lead by a certified birth Doula. All levels welcome. In Yin Yoga, you will enter poses - mostly on the floor - and stay a while observing strong sensations, while allowing your breath to help you access deeper layers of dense connective tissue, like ligaments, tendons, and fascia. The long-held, passive poses will help you become more flexible, with juicier joints and better func - tioning organs. No class April 15.
