IMPORTANT INFORMATION The Canadian Red Cross announced early January that it is winding down its swimming program by December 2022 to direct more attention to humanitarian demands, such as disaster and pandemic response, opioid harm reduction and care giving for seniors. To ensure a smooth transition for our participants, the Comox Valley Regional District has implemented the new Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life swim program for September 2022. All of the swim instructors have undergone new training so they can continue to offer the same quality lessons the public have come to expect, the levels will just have different names. Before you register for lessons be sure to check out the program equivalency chart on page 49 or on the CVRD website at https://www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/ registration/lessons-day-camps
