YIN YOGA: POWER IN STILLNESS Are you on a fast train? Ready to get off and breathe? In Yin Yoga, you will enter poses on the floor and stay a while, observing strong sensations, and breathing with awareness. The long-held, passive poses will help you become more flexible, with juicier joints and bet - ter functioning organs. You may become calmer, and better able to focus. Come home to your body in a profound and satisfying way. Prerequisite: At least one year of Yoga practice. No class Septem- ber 30, November 11 & Decem- ber 9. But maybe for years, your wife or female friends have been telling you how much you’d benefit from Yoga. This class is just for men over 55 who might be new to Yoga. You’ll work on gradually in - creasing your flexibility and learn some new breathing techniques to help reduce stress. As the weeks progress, you might find that you’re less prone to injuries at work or during leisure, and that you recover faster from exertion.
