Special Events Special Events are starting to ramp up at the Evergreen Club. Our Drama Club will be presenting an original play “Murphy’s Wake” in May or June. Watch for details on this lively comedy featuring the Evergreen Club’s Second Stage Players. The Canada Day Tea Dance, we hosted annually at Natives Sons Hall, has not been confirmed. But we hope it is a go this year! Check our Facebook page, website or our monthly newsletter for updates. You can expect to see an exciting selection of Special Events in the fall.

EvergreenLounge The EvergreenClub Lounge is nowofferinga selection of individual frozenmeals and soups to go! Grabdinner for later and stay to enjoy a fresh bakedmuffin, soup, salads or sandwich for lunch. Delicious hot specials like lasagna, chicken enchiladas andpizzaare offeredon Tuesday,Wednesday and Fridays, check our newsletter to see the specials in advance. Meet upwith a friend for a coffee or graba book or DVD fromour lending library. Our kitchen has adedicatedgroup of volunteers allowing us to offer affordable prices.

Volunteering at the Evergreen Club is a great way to connect with peers and give back to this beloved club for our community seniors. We are always looking for more volunteers so we can continue to offer a variety of clubs and special events. Hours are flexible to accommodate your busy schedule and start at just 2 hours a month. If you are interested to learn more, we would love to hear from you. Helping at Special Events is a popular volunteer job!
