Summer Registration for Adapted Programs starts Monday June 7! Laura McGrath , Adapted & Inclusive Program Supervisor 250-338-5371 lmcgrath@courtenay.ca Families who have children getting services through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) are eligible for support in our Summer Camp Programs for ages 6 - 18 years. These programs are for children/youth who have additional support considerations and are wanting to attend camp. Please contact the local Children and Youth with Special Needs (CYSN) office at 250-334-5820 to see if your child/youth is eligible as a letter from CYSN is required for registration. Only children/ youth with an intellectual disabili- ty, autism, or who receive services through the At Home program are eligible for CYSN services. LEISURE BUDDIES Is there a program that your child is interested in but requires additional help to better support them? Please contact the Adaptive & Inclusive Program Supervisor to help set your child up with a Lei- sure Buddy which will give them a helping hand in their program of interest. Thank you to the Comox Valley Community Foundation and CVRD for their ongoing support that allows us to offer affordable pro - gramming options for inclusion in Courtenay Recreation programs.
