Courtenay Rec pages

COURTENAY RECREATION WELCOME 52 We all know the importance of staying active. This past spring the federal, provincial, and territorial governments released a new “Com- mon Vision” national policy focused on increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary activity for all Canadians throughout their lifetimes. The Let’s Get Moving guide provides clear recommendations on how rec- reation programs can help support physical activity, and our Courtenay Recreation programmers are careful- ly reviewing these recommendations to improve our already excellent program offerings. If you’re ready to get active, the pages of this Rec Guide are a great place to start.
