OUTDOOR FITNESS CIRCUIT

Start your week with this fun and challenging class in the fresh air around the Lewis Center! This class is designed to challenge your unique fitness level with cardio and running intervals, strength, agility and balance exercises using the terrain and paths in the park. There will be different levels of intensity, but participants should be comfortable with run/ walk- ing a kilometer. Since we will be outside as much as we can, please come prepared for the weather conditions. Take advantage of the 35th annual 5k running and walking clinic to start your year off on the right foot. Comox Valley Road Run- ners offer supportive groups for walkers only, walkers to runners, and runners to racers. MINDS IN MOTION (50 years & over)

Minds in Motion® is a fitness and social program for people living with any form of early stage dementia along with a family member, friend or other care partner. The program is offered in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of BC. Gentle exercises are followed by social activi- ties designed to be enjoyed in pairs. Care partners must attend.
