Drawing Explorations - C 9 - 14 years Develop your drawing skills while learning some fun tricks and techniques that will make your work stand out. Participants will get to try various drawing mediums, including charcoal, pastels, pen and ink, design markers, and even basic printmaking techniques. The course encourages creativity and expression. Students will learn to draw from real-life objects and photographs, gaining insights into contrast, light, shade, and the principles of drawing realism. All levels welcome! Some time will be spent outside drawing. Animation & Cartooning - C 7 - 13 years Bring your drawings to life! In this class we will create animation projects using two different methods. Each student will create a cartoon book cover image using the techniques found on superhero magazines. Students will need a device with the free “stopmotion” app loaded for the fourth and fifth day of camp. Outside movement breaks are built into the morning.
