If you’ve never done Taekwondo before this class is for you. This class is designed to teach kids the basic foundational skills like kicking, blocking, punching, and life skills: courtesy, confidence and perseverance. Kids over 9 please join Junior class directly. We are a sanctioned member of the BC TKD Federation. Taekwondo is a traditional Ko rean martial art and an Olympic sport. In this class students learn Taekwondo with an emphasis on fun. Physical skills such as balance, coordination, and flex ibility are coupled with building mental and social skills like con fidence, co-operation, and focus. Kids will follow curriculum and learn kicks, hand strikes, blocks, stances and dynamic footwork.
