CHAIR YOGA (55 years & over)

Developed for those who cannot get up and down from the floor. There’s still a lot of Yoga that can be done in a chair. Special breath - ing practices, gentle joint move - ments, and muscle strengthening will all take place in this fun class. We also do some poses while standing, using the chair for sup - port. Suitable for those that are slow in getting up and down from the floor, have limited mobility or are looking for a mel- low practice. No class May 24. This class moves slowly, giving time to modify and explore as we go. The ‘joint freeing series’ can be used alone as a gentle practice or as a warm up for other activities. No class May 20.
