Simms Park Summer Concert Series Features MY SON THE HURRICANE on August 14

Enjoy the last FREE concert of the 2022 summer season at Courtenay’s Simms Millenium Park on Sunday, August 14 at 7:00 pm. Bring your own lawnchair or blanket and enjoy the show! The show features MY SON THE HURRICANE from Niagara, Ontario. This 12 piece brass/dance crew brings huge energy and audience engagement. They have toured in multiple countries and played in some of the largest festivals in North America and Europe and have been dubbed “the brass beast thrift shop dance circus”. The event also includes a FOOD BANK DRIVE and we encourage everyone to bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank or a cash donation. The Simms Summer Concert Series season is presented by the City of Courtenay and sponsored by the Comox Valley Record and Jet 98.9 FM.
