The City will track and communicate trends in community growth and change at regular intervals to ensure residents have access to information to participate in City engagement practices in a meaningful way. The City will regularly review and adapt communication and engagement activities to reflect community feedback, remove barriers and respond to emerging

The City will consider the use of a range of formal and informal resident and interest-holder advisory bodies such as, but not limited to, standing and select committees of Council, task forces, citizen assemblies, review panels, and advisory councils. The City will strive to ensure that advisory committees be representative of the community, including equity priority groups . The City will explore opportunities for supporting community development approaches to strengthen the participation and resilience of neighbourhoods. The City will explore partnerships as strategies to achieve OCP vision, goals and policies. Partnerships will employ innovative and structured approaches to ensure all parties are involved and mutually supported to maximize individual and collective efforts. 2 The City will work to remove barriers to participation and prioritizing central, accessible and culturally appropriate venues for events, aligned with the Accessible British Columbia Act. by providing flexible engagement options
