BEGINNER BLUES GUITAR

Get happy while strumming the Blues! This course will focus on 12 bar blues songs and cover strumming patterns, turnarounds, blues scales and simple blues licks (phrases). No class February 15. Playing woodwind instruments helps with circular breathing, breath planning and deep breathing. We’ll be playing tenor recorders. COURTENAY ADULT Larry Ayre Larry is an accomplished guitarist and music teacher who has been performing in the Comox Valley for over 25 years. While Blues, Swing and R&B are some of his favou- rite styles to play he can also be found playing classical guitar at wedding ceremonies and providing atmospheric music at social events and functions.
