I am pleased to see the expanded lineup of new, youth programing being offered this winter, including after school art and sport and social programs. For youth looking to increase their leadership skills, YOUth Inspire will provide an opportunity to improve the health and wellbeing of Comox youth. Need a babysitter? Sign up for Meet Your Neighbours’ Babysitter, another new youth program from the Recreation Department. As we transition through the seasons, we continue to monitor decisions by various agencies to determine how these external circumstances impact Town facilities and operations; the safety of our residents and staff are paramount. I extend my thanks to all residents for their patience, resilience and perseverance throughout this unprecedented time, and for continuing to enjoy the Community Centre, which plays such an important role in supporting the health and well-being of residents of all ages.
