An important feature in the community – our playgrounds – is getting attention these days in the “Let’s Play, Courtenay!” playground design standards project. Community consultation this past spring has informed the GUDIW VWDQGDUGV WKDW &LW\ VWD ZLOO EH presenting to Council this fall. These are the guidelines the City will use to make sure playgrounds are designed and upgraded to best meet the needs of our community, including siting, landscaping, play elements, materials, and more.
